General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein and I will try to help you as much as I can.

This is congenital anomaly if liver and biliary ducts and there is no biliary duct that evacuates bile form the liver. This is serious disease and if not treated,it is fatal. Kasai is the only procedure that can help temporarily for several years but in all cases, it is required to perform liver transplantation in early childhood to achieve permanent cure.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
