What Causes Bad Sound While Singing?

This happened since I was 12 I sound like a deased whale every time I sing it makes this awwwwrrrrr like a whale its bad I jus turned 14 2 days ago its been going that long its all weak and raspy and I cry becausei think itll never go away it also happens when I sing mariah carey it ends up completly a whale to everytime I hit 1 note it does that mom says its pubbety doubt that 2 yeats too long ima girl to have periods

What you are describing seems to me like puberty too. Almost most of the girls who try to sing Mariah Carey do not get the higher notes well, even when they have passed puberty. Give your body time to mature. You will have a stable final voice when you are 17 or so.
