What Causes Bad Odoured Stools?

For about a month I have had soft skinny smelly poop. I m 63 y/o female. Not over weight or diabetic. I exercise. Drink small amt of alcohol. Coffee daily but not always. Drink no pop and take vitamins and eat well. I take probiotics (now for about 3 weeks) and get plenty of roughage in my diet.
