I have noticed with my weight gain that the right half of my body is thicker and heavier that the left. From my earlobe to my cheek, nares, wrists, breast, thigh and foot. Recently I have been having perspiration of my under-arm, LEFT ONE ONLY that is new and has odor. I cannot find a deoderent/antiperspirant to combat this. I have NEVER had an odor problem before, If I had breakthrough perspiration, I would change my deoderant; problem solved. I use Dial antibacterial soap and shower daily. 54 y.o menopausal for 10 years. Minimal Premarin use to combat menopausal symptoms. I am 5.4 and weigh 167! I was always slender, gained 30# with both normal pregnantcies. Used Clomid to get pregnant. I take the following drugs: Simvastatin 80mg daily. cholesterol was 364 last week HDL 164! Synthroid 100 mcg daily Lexapro 20 mg daily Provigil Prilosec Calcium OTC w/ Vit D B Complex Family history: Perpherial vascular disease, COPD, Late onset CAD- Mom had pacemaker for Sick Sinus I use my C-Pap religiously. The unilateral odor and the thicker body mass is concerning. My doctor does not think this is a concern. Any suggestions? Endocrinologist?
