What Causes Bacterial Tonsillitis With Pain While Swallowing?

Hi , I m on my way to recovery from Bacterial Tonsillitis with the help of Amoxicillin however , it is the second day I have taken the 3 day 500mg capsules and I ve noticed the roof of my mouth and back of my tongue feeling uncomfortable. It s not a pain but it is just really uncomfortable. It is extremely uncomforting when I swallow. Even when I am not swalling the uncomfortable feeling lasts a while longer. What is this I m feeling ? Will this pass ?

hellooo...read thru ur query..accordingly i must say that it is due to the infection which radiates uncomfortable feeling to the roof of the mouth as all these parts are supplied by same nerve...so dont worry in this...within one day of medicine u wont get any relief in infection..it takes 2-3 days to start effect of antibiotics to be felt by u.so wait for a week and after that of still symptoms persist meet ur ent surgeon..also u can do warm salt water gargle...drink lots and lots of warm water and have hot food..avoid cold foods and cold water etc.....besides all this be cool and calm be confident in medicines and in ur body....be cool and have warm food...hope ur benefitted something from this reply..have a healthy day!!!
