What Causes Back Pain, Headaches And Dizziness With A Negative Pregnancy Test?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ?
Good evening, Doc. I had my last period 17-21 December 2010, then i had positive p-test 23 Jan, then i started to bleed 28 January til yesterday. I had negative p-test this morning. And now i've been having back pains and headaches and i feel dizzy. What do you think, Doc? Thankyou very much and more power.

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) With your history of missing period and positive urine pregnancy test, you had pregnancy For sure .

But you had episode of bleeding, and after that your test is negative.

3 ) This can be something like chemical pregnancy, or It could be a very early pregnancy and it got discontinued and got passed out with the bleeding.

4 ) I will suggest you to get USG done to look for the emptiness of the uterine cavity.

Also, a course of broad spectrum antibiotics like Doxycycline for 5 to 7 days will help to prevent genital tract infection. Your treating doctor can guide you further about the doses of the same.

5 ) If USG shows any remaining products of conception, then you need to get check curretage done.
