What Causes Back Pain And Spotting After Taking Unwanted 72?
Hellow sir, I had sex last week with my gf, while I used condom. She also take unwanted72 after 8 hours, bt yesterday she experience some light bleeding and back pain. Her periods are two week later..so is it there any chance of pregnancy?? Please help us sir When will she get her regular periods??
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Unwanted 72 is an emergency contraceptive pill. It needs to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. It would help to prevent unwanted or accidental pregnancy by causing withdrawal bleeding in the form of periods within 3 weeks from the day of its intake. Hence, she might get her periods this time little early or later, accordingly. What your partner has one is right by taking it around 8 hours. Some of them might experience low back pain and light spotting after the intake of the pill as its side effect. However, these symptoms should not be worried about and can be managed by symptomatic treatment. In case bleeding does not happen by 3 weeks, she needs to take urine pregnancy test and seek medical attention promptly. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
