What Causes Attraction Of Ants Towards Used Panties?

Hi. I am 44 years old and I noticed since the past week that my used panties seem to attract ants. This had happened to me about 15 years ago but then stopped completely. Now it has started again and it is worrying me. Can I know the possible reason and should I worry?

Hello,

What I will tell you is not to alarm you, but, for you to have a slight knowledge of why I would request what I am going to request.

In ancient times, doctors diagnosed the so-called Diabetes Mellitus (sweet) and Inspid Diabetes, tasting the urine.

If you say there are ants in your underwear, the best would be to rule out a Diabetes Mellitus.

I recommend you to have a glycemia in fasting and postprandial glycemia and go to a doctor to be fully evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Luis Alberto Urdaneta Arenas, General & Family Physician
