What Causes Anxiety Along With Palpitations And Excessive Sweating?
Hi, I started Simvastatin 3 weeks ago....I am 52 and going through menopause now...So that being said, I am having trouble distinguishing between feeling anxious, pounding heart at times, insomnia, sweats throughout the day and wondering if it s the meds or menopause related issues?

Statin may cause side effects like body aches , Nausea , vomiting , however the symptoms you said are not typical with statin. So this may be more likely related to the menopausal symptoms rather the drugs.Some times anxiety can cause such symptoms.
