What Causes Anxiety After Anesthesia?
New hyper vigilance and anxiety following long anesthesia (5 hrs) approx. one year ago. Endocrine studies within normal limits. Fight or flight feelings often and almost panic attacks . Migraine HA for last 10 yrs. no reason for this. Otherwise healthy 74 yr old female

It is not related to anaesthesia. Consult a psychiatrist and get evaluated. If symptoms are severe, you have to start on anti-anxiety meds like Clonazepam at a low dose.
