What Causes Ankle Pain And Gout Despite Being A Prediabetic?

My husband has major pain in his ankles and has gout as well. He was recently told he is prediabetic, has had high cholesterol for several years, as high calcium count and is going in for an angioscope next week. Could the pain in ankles and gout be related? He has been bed ridden 3 of the past 9 days for pain in ankles/feet. He has been taking two different types of gout medicine, tart cheries, etc. Where do we start?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is gout with prediabetic condition then the pain may be due to this, better to take care in diet and this is most important one as long as the gout and diabetes are concern better to consult the dietician for better diet plan, this would be even much better than the medicines, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day.
