What Causes An Unpleasant Ache In The Testicles?

Hi Doctor, periodically one or both (usually my left) testical will hurt. More of an unpleasant ache. It seems to come out of no where or if I've been sitting for a while and leave about 5 to 20 minutes later. I am 32 now and have had this since as long as I can remember. Any insight? Thank you very much.

Answer: hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern.I need further information from your complaints 1.)is there any swelling in left lower abdominal area 2.) about size of your testis ie is there any progressive increase in size3.) are you lean/tall or fat/short stature .i prefer clinical examination under general surgeon would be better. as you mentioned its left side it is highly suggestive of testicular varicocele,no need to get worried if you have children.its common among tall and thin individuals.
I would be glad to provide answers to any further queries.
Thanks for using HMC Have a good day!
Regards ,
