What Causes An Itchy Spot On The Scrotum?

I had a tick byte on the bottom of my scrotum and it has a spot about like a mosquito byte. Today there is some itchiness to the right side above in my groin area. Should I have concern or just monitor it. The tick to the best of my knowledge was attached from the time I was in the woods and it was around 36 hour.
