my wife has an ingrown finger nail, I think that is what it is, and its turning white at the tip . her finger is hurting quit a bit from pressure of the infection . no fever , her tip of her finger is not turning red she says it hurts quit a bit what should I do
When the shape of your nail changes, the ridges that hold your nail in place can lose their connection. This can cause the nail to grow into the sides or corners of your skin. This is known as an ingrown nail. Improper trimming, such as leaving a nail spike on the end is the usual cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
