What Causes An Arachnoid Cyst?

I have an arachnid cyst on my brain. I ve been to two neurologists, one said that I might have been born with it, and another said that we ll have to see if it grows within three months, and put me on medication that didn t help in the first place. I have been having all the side effects of them and they are so bad that I can t get out of bed. I was basically wondering if I should go see a neurosurgeon? I read that a lot of doctors don t like to take the cyst s out, but since I ve been having so many problems with it do you think they would remove it?

Hello,

From your description, I am of the opinion that You should consult a neurosurgeon for an arachnoid cyst. Arachnoid cyst is mainly congenital at birth and rarely causes symptoms. If you are experiencing problems due to it, taking out by neurosurgeon is the best advice I can give at my level. Medications don't work much for this. Neurosurgery is the best option.
