What Causes Allergy To Shrimp?

Im a US Army Recruiter. I have a applicant who ate shrimp once, threw up, took a benedryl and went to sleep. Never saw a doctor. He was fine. I need a letter saying his severity is low and he just needs to stay away from it, but neither one of us can find a free health care clinic that get him in ASAP. Any advice?
