What Causes Allergic Skin Rashes All Over The Body?

Hi, I was wanting to know if you knew about my problem... I started getting these rashes out of nowhere. I d like to believe it s from the heat, but I m not sure. One day after eating some food and drinking this milk, it made my stomach feel really off and I could not work the next day. Was in the restroom constantly vomiting or with irregular bowel movements. Then developed a really big rash on my back, sides, groin and armpits. Today would be the third day and I just woke up with rashes on my neck, sides and my wrists. Idk if this is something common or not... There haven t been allergic reactions throughout my life, so for the most part I don t believe I am allergic to anything. These rashes are kicking my butt, but my mental will is what s keeping me on a balance. Can you help a little to let me know possibly what this is?

Hi,
I have seen your query and understand your concern. You have mentioned that you have developed the rash all over your body after consuming milk and some food. It looks like you are allergic to some part of the food you ate.

Development of rash or raised red bumps after immediately eating some sort of food is called urticaria. It is very itchy. Some people are allergic to some foods like seafood, nuts like groundnuts, etc. They tend to develop urticaria immediately or within few hours after eating it.

Some people also develop symptoms called anaphylaxis after eating such foods. Anaphylaxis has symptoms like wheezing, shortness of breath, swelling of your lips and around eyes, sudden decrease of your BP. Be really cautious if you develop any such symptoms, as its a medical emergency and needs immediate injection with a drug called adrenaline.
You have mentioned that you have developed the vomiting and irregular bowel movements after one day after eating the food, and then developed the rash. So, it must be some viral infection causing you the above rash. Viral infections resolve by themselves in few days.
So, just try to use a drug called chlorpheniramine maleate at night for 2 to 3 days. It will help to heal the rash if its due to allergy. Then, if it doesn't resolve or if it comes back again after eating anything else, just consult a allergy specialist to test if you really have an allergy.
