What Causes Aggressive Behavior After Increasing Amphetamine Dosage?

My daughter switched from 7.5 MG twice a day to 10 mg twice a day on amphetamine salts today, and she had very aggressive, physical behaviors at school today, something she has never shown before. She had little to no improvements on the 7.5mg dose and her new dose started today, could this behavior have any side effect on her physical behavior today?

Hi,

Yes, amphetamine does cause aggressiveness and overactivity. However sometimes aggressive behaviour may be normal if it was justifiable or natural.

If it's too much or repeatedly there, or if it's too much out of her natural life, then you may need to talk to your doctor for stopping the drug or reducing the dose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
