What Causes Addiction To Eating Paper?

Hello, I think im addicted to eating the white papers. I ve been eating them since 17 years now I m 20 and still chewing. I don t swallow i just chew and swallow the juice, though some of the small pieces they go inside my stomach i didn t feel any pain. Please help. Tell me how can I overcome this habit?
