hi, I had acute pain on my neck (left back side) and left arm around a month ago, wherein i was unable to even move or sleep for atleast a week. looked like it was due to some nerve on my neck which may have been the reason since i am experiencing some numbness in my fore finger, thumb and middle finger of left hand. Also, if i keep my left hand for lets say even 5mins in some of the positions in chair etc, the tingling sensation starts in the hand. The neurosurgeon prescribed me Omnacortil 40mg (20 each morning and evening) and pregalin 75mg for the first 8 days and thereafter for next 21 days (till date) i am taking 20mg (10+10mg) each day and pregalin 75mg once a day in the evening. I notice swelling on my face and the pain has almost gone, however, the tingling and numbness sensation has not gone. I am concerned about the prolonged consumption of the medicines, as one is steroid and other nerve related which also should have significant side effects. Request for your advise as to how should i address this and also if I should go see some other doctor. Thank you, Raj
