What Causes Acute Acid Reflux In The Night?

My wife is 54 and complains severe heartburn mostly in late nights despite of having precautions to avoid oil and spices. Her gall bladder is removed 6 months back. Also under gone treatment of Pentaprozole+Domipridine thrice with 15 days gap. Please advice next action.

Hello....
It is seen commonly after cholecystectomy that patient complaining of dyspepsia. Actually stomach get weak to digest fatty foods due to absence of bile storage.
So in this case, you have to take precautions like Light meal at night with minimal fats, Do not go to bed at least for 1 hour after meal, avoid spicy, junk and hot foods.
Along with these you take Cap Esomeperazole with Domperidon twice a week before meal with Syp Sucralfate 10 ml thrice a day after meal.
