What Causes Acute Abdominal Pain In A Child?
My daughter is 9 year old. Has been having stomach pain for few days but is now acute. USG shows borderline enlargement of mesenteric nodes. She has no fever, dysentery or vomiting. Hardly passing stool for 2 days. She is on bacigylN and cyclopan for pain killer. The pain continues. It comes and goes. What should I do?

This sounds like mesenteric adenitis which can mimic appendicitis but resolves in time and doesn't require surgery.
That said, if her pain is worsening, she needs to see a doctor again to make sure she hasn't developed appendicitis since the last scan
