What Causes Acid Reflux Along With Nausea?

Hi, I am suffering heartburn symptoms. I suspect this was caused by taking 2 220 MG aleve tablets for relief of acute pain. I rarely take any pain medications. I took the aleve on Thursday evening, and I began experiencing the heartburn on Friday. I also felt nauseous. I took several Tums throughout the day with marginal relief. Today is Saturday and I am still experiencing the heartburn, although not quite as severe. The nausea feeling is gone. I am looking for any suggestions on how to treat the heartburn.

Hello,

As of now, you can try drugs like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
