Hello, I am 18 weeks pregnant and severely constipated. I got an ok from my obgyn to take a liquid laxative after 6 days of no bowel movement. After taking 2 doses of the liquid laxative, I went... I had to push hard, and had to pull the waste out of me. I had a little blood in the toilet. Since this is my 2nd child ive felt movement earlier than some women. I usually feel the baby move at night, after a meal and when at rest, and I haven t felt anything. I am beginning to worry. Should I ?

Thanks for posting your query.
The baby starts moving from 8 weeks but most mothers perceive it around 20 weeks. Since its your 2nd pregnancy, you have felt it earlier. At this stage, the movements are not very regular. But as you have felt no movements at all, its better to see your doctor & reassure yourself with scan. This is not related to your constipation- which can be treated easily with diet changes, laxatives. Also check thyroid if not done earlier. Hope this helps, Take care.
