What Causes Abdominal & Rectum Cramps?

I am a 28 year old female, 5'4'', 138lbs. I had a healthy bowel movement (no pushing, blood or mucus), and almost immediately, my lower abdomen and rectum cramped up. It has been going on for 2.5 hours now. It felt better when I laid down with a heating pad, but as soon as I move or get up it starts to hurt somewhat again.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the given symptoms may be nonspecific and it may not be due to any illness, I would advise to wait for a day and it will be fine no need to worry about it.
Muscle tend to go in state of spasm even without the apparent reason or disease and it is very common phenomenon, in your case it could be referred phenomenon due to uterine contraction, over all it seems to be nonspecific and no need to worry about this.
hope this information helps.
