What Causes Abdominal Pain While On Levofloxacin?

Hi, I am 66 years old female and on Levofloxacin 500 mg once a day fir 10 days ,I’m into the 5 th day and experiencing severe abdominal pain. I should tell you that in June of 2017 I had a very severe reactions to amox/ clav for sinus infection,I was admitted into my local hospital for 8 days as my belirubin was at 428 and enzymes were off the chart just can’t remember the # ,so I am very skeptical to antibiotics. Can I take the antibiotic Doxycycline after as this one I’ve had no reactions to or should I wait a few days after stopping the Lev?
