What Causes Abdominal Pain On The Right Side After A Colonoscopy?

Hello, my wife had a colonoscopy today around 12:00 pm. Since she has been home she states that her mid right side towards the front has been in pain off and on. She now states (9:50pm) that its a constant pain. The Dr. Did state that he took biopsies for testing. We are unable to get a hold of her Dr. I am concerned that if this is not normal sidefects that I will take her into the E.R. Any advise would be great!

Pain in abdomen may be associated with the procedure of it is occurring after the procedure.
The biopsies are taken to know the cause of lesion in the intestine.
Please post the biopsy report to know the nature of lesion and its most appropriate treatment.

Thanks and take care
