What Causes Abdominal Pain On The Left Side?

This all started with a pain in my left side just as my period was starting. Since for the past week I have had lower abdominal pain, upset stomach with some direah and what I thought was a yeast infection. I have no typical STD symptoms like discharge, foul smell or frequent urination. Just itching and discomfort.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Sounds secondary to urinary tract infection giving cystitis associated changes with possible pelvic inflammation.

Plenty of liquids, antibiotics, urinary alkalizer, antispasmodic medications as Dicyclomine and avoidance of vaginal sex would be the primary key features to be followed for curing the issue.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
