Hello I went ER today due to severe pain in my upper left side of my abdomen that traveled to the upper mid-section An also traveled up to my left shoulder area. Very painful. I noticed 2 days about 5minutes into eating any food Sharp pains would occur I. My stomachs area I cannot eat without pain so I have not eaten much. I get nauseous from pain I believe. They said I have gall stones and gastritis. I drink a lot. They sent me home with pain meds prilosec and zofran. It s still aching. My symptoms sound a lot like pancreatitis but on the lab paper,it says the pancreas was to hard to see on the ultrasound. Should I be concerned that they could not see it? My email is YYYY@YYYY . thank you for your time.
