What Causes Abdominal Pain And Passing Dark Stool While Having Mild Hernia?

I take zoloft 50 mg and developed heavy nausea and stomac pain..I take wellbutron SR150 and diazapam andI have Fibromialgia-fibrositis and take OPANA20 ER and OXYcodone 15 for chronic pain. I have PTSD and take Trazadone to help me sleep..I have very bad stomach abdominal pain and a small hernia and having very dark BMs. I have had a colonoscopy and Endoscopy and they cant find anything..Im thinking drug interactions...maybe should be off zoloft??

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of abdominal pain and passing dark stool while having mild hernia.Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like gastroenteritis, lactose intolerance, food poisoning, irritable bowel syndrome and crohn's disease.

You should go for liver function because of dark stool . Blood can also be one of the reasons for dark stool. For now eat light and non spicy food substances. Drinking plenty of warm water through out the day will help you alot .

I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order stool test , ultrasound , endoscopy along with that take history. Doctor may prescribe laxative , ornidazole or albendazole along with ranitidine.

You should avoid food like seafood and nuts , take antacid after every meal and keep your head elevated while lying down. Doctor may also recommend surgery for hernia.
