Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 15 year old daughter is having abdominal pains (right side near the middle) that are painful & make her nauseous. they aren't constant, but come and go. WOndering if maybe it could be related to her menstration cycle (she is not on her cycle at this current time) or if there is something else that we need to investigate.
As per your query you are having symptoms of nausea and upper abdominal pain which is most probably due to all of the changes taking place in your body such as electrolyte imbalance. It could be related to medical problem like gastritis or food allergy. I would suggest you to get up slowly and do not lie down right after eating , eat small meals or snacks often, try not to skip meals. You should take plenty of fluids and you should eat cold food instead of hot, as it may not smell as strongly , sniffing lemons or ginger can sometimes help an upset stomach. If condition doesn't get better in 2-3 days the consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug along with antibiotics .
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
