What Causes Abdominal Pain And Nausea During Pregnancy?

I am 22 weeks pregnant and have had abdominal pain since 4am with nausea. I had one bowl movement (solid) today around 10 am that was extremely painful, but none since. I just bought a gentle laxative, believing it to be some blockage in my intestines but I want to make sure that first, it is safe to do so. And secondly, I want to be sure that it is not something more urgent that I need to be seen for. The pain has stuck around long enough that i am considering going to an Urgent Care to see what can be done.

As of now drink plenty of water.

You can take antiemetics like ondansetron for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persists you can consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.
