What Causes Abdominal Pain And Brown Vaginal Bleeding While On Contraceptive Implant?
Hi I m on the contraceptive implant and it s been a month and a half I didn t have my first period since having it in but now I m leaking brown blood for about 2 weeks and my stomach swells up and also I get pain in my legs and migraines is this normal with the implant
Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. It can be a side effect of implant and you may need removal if migraine is there. Pain in legs can be an indication of clotting or thrombotic disorders. Get it evaluated properly. Brown discharge can be due to some vaginal infection or due to implant also. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist to rule out any cervical pathology or infections. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps.
