What Causes Abdominal Pain Along With Nausea?

About a year ago I developed severe abdominal pains accompanied with nausea. I was put on omeprazole and cyproheptadine, but was eventually taken off cyproheptadine. I had an edoscopy and they found nothing. Eventually, the omeprazole worked on its own. Now if I miss a dose of omeprazole my severe abdominal pains and nausea returns. I have absolutely no idea what to do. My diet is pretty ok. Every so often I do binge eat, but that usually doesn t effect my stomach; however, if I eat fish or something too greasy my stomach will be a mess for a while. Do you have any idea of what this could be?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is possible that the pain and nausea may be related to the gallbladder. This tends to act up specifically with fatty food. An ultrasound of the abdomen along with blood tests, may be helpful in finding the cause of your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query.
