General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You would need an ultrasound to determine if the miscarriage was complete.

Imaging is the only way to determine if there is any retention.

You would need to be seen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
