What Causes Abdominal Gas, Smaller Bowel Movements, Blood In Stool?

I had an episode 6 months ago with c-diff and have not had symptoms and regular bowel movements until today. The medicine that was successful six months ago was vancomycin hcl. I believed I was free from it and today I had lots of gas and smaller BMs. Now I had bright blood in my stool and am very concerned. There is no diahreah (sp?) but should I go to an emergency room?

you might be having bacillary dysentery. nothing to worry. get your stool examined. maintain hydration. take an antibiotic like vancomycin and tab entamizole. take normal food.
