What Causes Abdominal Distention In A Child?
my 10 year old daughter has a distended stomach and a cellulite looking appearance. She has always been on the underweight side but is going through a growing spurt so she has been eating alot and is putting on a little weight but I dont like the distension and mottled look of her abdomen

Malnourishment and poor protein intake can cause abdominal distension also called plot belly.
Consult a paediatrician and get evaluated.
An ultrasound abdomen is required for further assessment.
