What Causes Abdominal Discomfort And Vomiting Sensation Post Food Intake?

My daughter has been put on a prescription strength Zantac for the last week because every time she eats anything within a few bites she feels as though she is going to vomit and is extremely full. The Zantac has not helped in any way. What else could be the cause of her pain and discomfort?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
It could be due to the indigestion, acidity, reflux esophagitis, and ulcer in the stomach.
I would suggest to consult the gastroenterologist and undego routine blood test, Endoscopy, Urea breath test.
Meanwhile take following advises:
Tablet esmoprazole plus domperidone 30 minutes before the meal
Tablet metoclopramide at the bed time
Tablet gas x and tablet unienzyme.
Take small frequent meal rather than large meal
Take diet like banana, rice, applesauce. and toast.
Take more yogurt and butter milk.
Avoid spicy/fatty/oily food.
Hope this may help you
