What Causes Abdominal Discomfort After Vaginal Hysterectomy?
Hi. It's been 4 weeks since my vaginal hysterectomy. Yesterday I attempted to wear my jeans for the first time.I wore them out for about 8 hours. Today, my abdomen feels sore and has a burning sensation. I have not noticed any bleeding but am wondering if I may have hurt myself and also, what should I watch for as far as signs that I have injured myself.

Brief..It could be infection
detailed answer...since it takes long preiod to heal after major operation.It is not necessary that you have injured yourself by wearing jeans,but for few months it will be comfortable for you to wear loose clothes.As for as feeling of soreness and burning could be urinary tract infection or pelvic infection.My opinion would be get urine test done to rule out any infection and then you may need 1to 2 weeks course of antibiotic.
