What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Delay In Pregnancy?

I just turned 48 yrs old and have had my periods quite regular, between 28-32 days cycle; for the first time it is 49 days today and though I feel some cramps, no periods yet; and I know I am not pregnant (since I am single and no partner) -- I am worried what might be the case?

it can be a sign of menopause. now a days menopause occur in late fourties due to our life style and food.
