What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Brown Vaginal Discharge While On Microgynon?
Hi. I am taking Microgynon 30 and have taken it every day at the same time for 21 days and started my 7 day pill break on Saturday 19th. Today (22nd) I have had small cramps and some brown discharge. I have taken a pregnancy test (just as I am a worrier) and this is negative. Is the brown discharge normal and is it a withdrawal bleed? Last month on my withdrawal bleed I bled a lot and this month it s quite light. Should I be worried at all or is it normal to have brown discharge during the pill free week ? Thank you

I think you don't have to worry about it. If you didn't forget a pill the protection is good and you are not pregnant. The brown discharge is the beginning of cycle and you should not worry if they come three days earlier. It will be heavier tomorrow.
