What Causes Abdominal Cramps Along With Fever And Headaches?

I have extreme cramping off and on since thur night. I have had a slight fever, headache and chills yesterday. Fever is broken but still have cramps and chills. I have had two bowel moment today. Advial helps with the cramps every 4 hour and helps, but cramps up back when it wear off.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

According to history provided you are having abdominal cramps along with the fever and so this presentation is suggestive of viral gastroenteritis.symptomatic management done for that and maintain your hydration with lots of water. Avoid gastric irritant foods like excessive spicy foods and smoking. excessive tea coffee also should be avoided. You can be prescribed Pantoprazole like antacid and antispasmodic drug like Dicyclomine. If you are having diarrhea then stool routine microscopic analysis is advisable and if you are not improving in 2 to 3 days with Symptomatic management than further work up is needed.
