What Causes Abdominal Cramps After Tubal Ligation?

Hello The last two weeks I have had cramping which is unusual for me. Last month I also had a period which only lasted two days. I also have an Oder that is horrible and has been like this for a couple of months off and on. I have my tubes tied and took a test and it was negative. What could possibly be going on?

Hi,

As you mentioned, the test was negative (Pregnancy test). In that case, are you having any low-grade fever recently?

Any white discharge? This kind of abdominal pain and odor, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease needs to be ruled out first.

Please consult your Gynecologist and go through an Ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis.

If suspicion of Pelvic Inflammatory disease is there then you may require a course of antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
