What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Vomiting?

My husband (age 56) has bloating in his abdomen. No pain, just feels full, and has been vomiting , although that has slowed and stopped. He has had a low fever 99, off and on most of the day. He has also not had a bowel movement in 24 hrs. He had gone to a baseball game last evening, but thinks the bloating and fullness started before that, maybe after lunch. I have been giving him water with some Gatorade. He had an egg for dinner, but threw that up later. Wondering if it is food poisoning.

Hello
Welcome to
Healthcaremagic.com.
Food poisoning is related to food always, if you think he had taken some foods outside and is also associated with loose stools and no fever
.
It seems to me the case of gastritis. He must take plenty of fluids mostly following vomiting episode.
Also take ORS so that he be hydrated.

He can take pantoprazole 40mg with 10mg dompeidone empty stomach in morning. If he feels feverish please take him to general physician for further evaluation
Hope my answer will be helpful to you.
Regards
