Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 61 female and for the last few months have often felt super full..like you do after eating a Thanksgiving meal..even when it has been hours since I ate a relatively small meal. I find myself huffing and puffing like after you eat a big meal. I have put on a few pounds and thought that was it. But I am beginning to get concerned as I often take big inhales and exhales even as I type this. I still snowshoe, walk on treadmill or outside without problem breathing. Just wondering what could be causing this full or bloated feeling which causes me to huff and puff. Thank you.
There are many reasons for abdominal bloating like constipation, hardly digestible food, not chewing food properly, not taking fluids(water) at the appropriate time, etcetera. I suggest you take tablet Digene for 7 days.
I guess breathing difficulty is might be due to abdominal bloating but I advise you to take an ECG and consult a physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Indhu Priyadharshini
