What Causes A Weird Feeling On The Lower Torso?

on the lower right side of my torso and toward my stomach feels like I have applied Ben Gay or Icy/Hot. That cool minty feeling that penetrates is what I am feeling off and on. And I have not applied anything. Does that symptom belong to anything?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The hot / icy feeling in torso / lower abdomen indicates spondylosis of lumber spine / some other pathology in stomach, compressing the nerve supplying affected part. Exact site needs to be confirmed by MRI of spine followed by specific management advised by an orthopedic surgeon. Avoiding bending till you see an expert is needful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
