What Causes A Transient Ischemic Attack?

I just got over a TIA and they tested just about everything and found nothing. They think it may have been a little plac that was fronting in my veins.Prescribed this drug but it maybe a negative for my flight physical. Is this drug a anti coagulant or blood thinner?
