What Causes A Sore On The Vagina?

I think I HAVE the equivalant to a canker sore on my vagina, more like the perineum, but very close. I looked at it with a magnifying mirror and flashlight, looks like a canker sore. Hurts when I wipe, and yes I was washing very rough like prior to it happening. (camping in RV for vacation, wasn t feeling so fresh so I scrubbed a little too hard maybe?)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is quite possible that it may be due to intense rubbing in the area.

It would hurt on wiping and possibly when urinating. This can last up to a week in some cases, but usually may decrease significantly by at least 4 days.
In the majority, heal on their own with little intervention.

If you have any barrier creams that you can apply to reduce contact , this may help eg petroleum jelly.

I hope this helps
