What Causes A Soft Lump On The Soft Palate?

Hi, I m an 18 year old male. I have had a globus sensation since 3 months ago, and it s bothering me a lot. I did an endoscopy and nothing came up. Yesterday, I was trying to get a piece of food dislodged from the back of my throat. Then I felt a soft lump just on top of (the right side of) my soft palate. The lump was very squishy, large, and painless. Could this be dangerous? Thanks

this could be a Mucoceles( accumulation of mucus) which are painless, asymptomatic swellings..
i suggest you to consult your ENT surgeon and take a check up..
