What Causes A Small Bump On Head Behind Ear After Injury?
Hi,my son fell and bumped his head just behind his ear on the edge of a shelf.he now has this small bump.when it happened he cried for a minute and then he was back to his normal self for 2hrs then fell asleep he ate and drunk normally.should i be worried because of the fall.

The bump he is experiencing after falling on his ear's side might be due to trauma (bruising).
If he felt within the recent 2 days, I advise to apply cold compresses locally. If the swelling won't reverse after 1 week, I advise to consult with his pediatrician for further evaluations.
Please give him acetaminophen syrup to relieve the pain!
